Apley Walled Garden – volunteers’ help

We planted sweet william seedlings in the flower border … along with sunflowers in the corner cages & climbing sweet peas in the [bean] tunnel.”

The gardens are looking magnificent, even when still rather brown. Phil’s knowledge & expertise are being widely admired. He seems to be enjoying the huge challenge !

Drinking from a favourite glass, cup or mug makes the drink taste better. In the same way, just seeing what a special environment the fruit & vegetables are grown in makes them all the tastier when they appear in the Farm Shop ! Our fridge is full of Apley Walled Garden salad, rocket, mizuna, radishes & best of all, tasty, naturally sun ripened strawberries !
