Apley attend the Venuemasters Conference

Venuemasters imageGavin & Phil [Lord Hamilton & Head Gardener, Phil Allen]  attended a Cheese & Wine taster evening as part of the Venuemasters conference at the University of Wolverhampton recently on 19 Nov. We’ve just had this very positive feedback from them:

“It was a great pleasure to meet both of you last Wednesday and I’d like to say a big thank you to you both for your contribution to the night’s success.

You both demonstrated the utmost professionalism and efficiency in the running of your stand, which I have to say was presented with a great deal of flair and attention to detail. Your passion for your work really came through and the enthusiasm with which you interacted with our delegates was certainly infectious!

The tasting event was quite different to anything Venuemasters has offered as part of a networking evening before so we were somewhat unsure as to how it would be received, but the efforts of all our suppliers ensured that it was a resounding success.

And Apley said this about the venuemasters event: “At Apley Farm shop we were delighted to show & taste some delicious Shropshire produce with the Venuemasters delegates from around the country.  The attendees enjoyed a wide range of Shropshire tastes, including Apley’s home made scotch eggs, Hobson’s beer, Reg May’s pork pies and Apley’s own mini mince pies. Lord Hamilton] was delighted to attend the event & show some of what Shropshire & Apley has to offer & it was wonderful to have such a positive reception from the delegates from all over Britain’
