Film of Apley’s Christmas Food Fair

Shropshire’s local producers came to offer to our customers free tasters of their festive food & drinks. Agata Wasieswka & Gary came to create this film, interviewing members of staff about what’s going on in their departments this Christmas. Julie’s minced pies are delectable, baked daily on site. Amongst other things, I came away with a Christmas veg box from Apley Walled Garden, incredibly good value at £8.95 & 7 bags of cinnamon stars from Cottage Delights, which make great little Christmas & thank you presents for members of staff in the children’s schools.

Included in the veg box are 3 leeks, 1 celeriac, 3 parsnips & a bunch of carrots, all grown in the Walled Garden. From the Farm Shop, the box also has 4 potatoes, brussel sprouts, 1 cabbage, 1 cauliflower (all items are of course subject to availability). I’ve been cooking with my veg box all week – totally yummy winter goodness.
