Sausages – plain pork, venison & pork with tomato

Pork & sweet chilli, Pork & tomato, Pork & leek, Plain pork thick & thin, Extra lean pork sausages, Pork & apple, For limited time we even have very rare venison sausages ! We asked out new in-house Apley butcher Craig Whitehouse how he makes his delicious sausages: He minces the local outdoor reared pork which makes up 70% of the sausages & puts it into the mixer with rusk & seasoning then put it through a sausage filler which puts the skins on them. He produces 4 different varieties each week as well as plain thick, plain thin & extra lean pork sausages – specials are available over the weekend. £7.50 per kg.

On Saturday 2 May at 2pm, Craig’s will be giving an demonstration of how he prepares Apley lamb from Henry Yates. On Sunday 3 May at 2pm he’s preparing English chicken (from Oswestry, 45 mins away). On Monday 4 May (bank holiday) at 11.30am, he’ll be preparing outdoor reared pork from Cherrington, 20 mins from the Farm Shop. Every weekday at 11am & every Saturday & Sunday at 11am & 3pm, you can spot him making sausages.
