2015-05-25, Julie's handmade cakes & sconesI can’t believe how quickly a half term week can whizz past ! So firstly, I must tell you that tomorrow (Friday 29 May) is the last day of Pigg’s Playbarn bottle top fun half term activities. It runs 10-12 & 2-4pm. Then from Thursday 4 June, come & join in Lydia’s Pigg’s Playbarn Music Club, after school for 7 Thursdays. It costs just £1 extra over the normal playbarn entry fee & runs 4-5.30pm. More on that very soon.

Secondly, here is a recent Creamery Café daily specials menu, to keep you up to date with what’s on the menu (the specials menu changes daily). The minted lamb burgers are very tasty & very recently I shared the recipe here for the pigs’ livers, so you could taste it in the Café & try it at home.

We now have super handmade labels, shown here on Julie’s handmade cakes. Here’s 2 of her latest – Chocolate tray bake (cake of the week) & spiced carrot cake tray bake. We’re now using these ‘Handmade at Apley’ labels which I think look fab.

And thirdly, we have some vacancies at Apley Farm Shop – a kitchen cook, a kitchen porter, a pot wash, a Playbarn assistant & Farm Shop/Creamery Cafe casual staff. Look at our jobs page for more details.
