Apley Farm Shop is a great tourist destination
Whilst it’s tipping with rain (at last) outside, ironically I’ve just been sent through the final copy of this tourist
Apley Farm Shop is a great tourist destination, with something for all ages, events on all year round (except January, I have to admit !), somewhere where tourist can really savour Shropshire produce from the farm shop & Shropshire meals in the Creamery Cafe. Visitors can eat, shop, play & walk at Apley Farm Shop which usefully, for British weather, has both indoor (playbarn) & outdoor (nature trail) activities.
With 6 concessions, we have lovely Courtyard Shopping – Big Little Things [florists & presents], Alley Katz Toy Shop, Lottie’s [fashion], Scotty’s Donkeys & Animal Park, Apley Plant Centre & Annie’s Reiki Centre.
Plus we’re super-close to Ironbridge, the award-winning group of ten museums located in & centred on the birthplace of the industrial revolution. Shropshire Tourism, Virtual Shropshire & Visit Ironbridge are good websites to learn more. Much Wenlock, birthplace of the modern Olympics, the Shropshire Hills, Shrewsbury (birthplace of Charles Darwin), historic Ludlow – the list is endless & too long to write here today !
To that end, we’ve advertised again on the latest Telford & Wrekin tourist map (we’re the small grey advert towards the top right corner) under the ice rink (perfect for these winter months, where our children have enjoyed many hours).
