As soon as the clocks fell back an hour on 25 Oct, our Christmas festoon lights were ready to safely show the way through the Autumn darkness from the roadside to the Apley Farm Shop front door. Steve Watts of A Decent Exposure sent me this great photo of the lights, which do lighten the darkness wonderfully. He was onsite during our Spookley Pumpkin Festival week & took these lovely photos of Lauren (our marketing assistant) & Francis (just 6, wearing his favourite jumper which was Gavin’s !).

Our Christmas Launch will be on Saturday 14 November – when all Christmas stock will be on display & decorations up. The latter (top secret) are not quite finished, but close – I can’t wait to see them up – think glitter, glimmer, sparkle, shimmer ! I’m looking forward to our Christmas Food Fair on Saturday 28 November, when we’ll have a programme of demonstrations again from local chefs & members of our own team who will share their expertise – including as before our butcher & gardener. On Sunday 29 November we will hold our Christmas Craft Fair (10-4pm), the last of 2015.
