We’ve extended Christmas orders until 23 December

Handmade Apley panna cotta, available on to order on the Apley Delicatessen counter

Free range turkey from Richard Botterill, Leicestershire
We’ve extended Christmas orders at Apley Farm Shop until 23 December by midday, of course, subject to availability at this busy time of year ! This applies to everything – the Apley butchery counter, the Apley delicatessen, the Apley for Christmas cakes, Christmas puddings & mince pies & Christmas veg boxes. This also applies for Click & Collect items ordered via our new online DeliShop.
Photographer Steve Watts has been snapping more great shots for our DeliShop including this one of cooked turkey, available to order from our butchers. Turkey crowns, stuffed bird (bird in a bird), goose & venison are all also available & of course, John’s award winning sausages !
Meanwhile, Head Chef Matt Jones has been cooking up this ginger & vanilla panna cotta in the Creamery Cafe kitchen which is £3.25 per portion on the Delicatessen counter.
Our deluxe Christmas trees are now reduced to £29. They’re Norwegian Blue Spruce, pre packed in white netting mounted on a circular wooden block. Grown in Newtown, Wales & sourced from Durwen Nurseries in Powys Wales, they are very attractive, with a blue hue foliage & ‘low drop’ needles & a distinctive pine scent. They need to be kept well-watered & away from direct heat to increase longevity.
I’ve finally just hung the holly & Christmas cards today & made a quick Christmas wreath. If you still need one, drop into Big Little Things in the Apley shopping courtyard.
