Haggis sausages at Apley Farm Shop

Apley handmade haggis sausages

Brie Du Meaux

Beetroot & goat’s cheese aracini

Pear, hazelnut & chocolate cake
are now available at Apley Farm Shop ! Strictly speaking, they’re haggis in sausage skins instead of the usual larger haggis bags. Handmade by our super butchers Craig & John, they’re £9.95 per kg (same price per kg as the haggis).
Matt’s Dish of the Week (£5.50) is beetroot and goats’ cheese aracini. When we took our eldest daughters out for their birthday Sunday lunch this weekend, I had a similar beetroot & goat’s cheese salad – it’s a delicious combination & full of winter vitamins. Matt’s version looks equally packed with goodness, to beat off the so-called Blue Monday (today, 18 Jan) – mid winter, post Christmas, cold & dark evenings … (I didn’t have time to feel blue, I must admit !).
Julie’s Cake of the Week (£2.50 cafe, £1.50 shop) is Pear, hazelnut & chocolate cake. She & Brenda have just finished compiling a mouth-watering year-long schedule of cakes & patisseries for our customers to enjoy.
Donna’s Cheese of the Week on the Apley Delicatessen counter (£1.69 per 100g) is Brie de Meaux.
Have you tried our online DeliShop yet ? When you spend only £10 online, you get a free tea or coffee in the Creamery Cafe (or to takeaway if you prefer). T&Cs apply of course (offer ends 31 March, claim by 30 June).
