Their Telford Campus catering managers buy in meat & game from our Apley butchers as well as vegetables grown in Apley Walled Garden by Phil Allen.

As the article says, buying locally means the chefs can be using Apley’s vegetables within 4 hrs being harvested. That’s zippy !

They’ve just won an award (Value Change Management Award) from their sustainability & sourcing their ingredients so locally – as well as following the seasons. It really works all round – it’s great for them, great for us (the supplier) & great for their consumers (university students & staff who use their university restaurants).
