The beautiful old dairy building, formerly Lottie’s (fashion), in the centre of Apley Farm Shop’s courtyard is our new temporary pop-up cafe, giving us much-needed extra space. It’s where the Dairy Shorthorn cows were milked 1956-65, whose milk was used to make the award-winning Apley cheese which Mr Moyden has replicated for us. It has been decorated with these 18th century pin-ups including Lord Nelson & Lady Emma Hamilton (no relation !) & Gavin’s mother Lady Hamilton has just added to our collection of vintage crockery used for our Afternoon Teas on Valentine’s Day & Mothers’ Day.
Big Little Things – the florist & gift shop at Apley Farm Shop – issued this press release earlier this month. Here it is again in case you missed it. They have great personalised Valentine’s present ideas:
Shropshire florists make Valentine’s Day personal
A county florist and gift shop aim to deliver a personal touch to the most romantic day of the year, Valentine’s Day.
Shropshire-based Big Little Things, who offer flowers and gifts for special occasions, launched a new personalised Valentine’s Day gift range to compliment the Valentine’s Day flower bouquet service.
Big Little Things, who are located at Apley Farm Shop near Shifnal, can deliver flowers and gifts throughout Shropshire. Creative Director, Francesca Robinson said: “People love to receive gifts on Valentine’s Day and this year we have introduced a personalised gift service. We can personalise artwork and signs in the shop for customers to give as gifts on Valentine’s Day. Or we can wrap and deliver these gifts with a bouquet of flowers on the day itself. It’s one of the busiest days of the year for us with customers buying little pick-me-ups and gifts for their loved ones to be delivered to Telford, Bridgnorth, Shifnal and Wolverhampton.”
The new Big Little Things Valentines range includes personalised mugs and personalised ‘Scrabble’ framed prints. Mrs Robinson added: “The Valentine’s gifts are ideal for customers wanting to say ‘I love you’ in a way that is different to the standard chocolates and flowers.”
The Big Little Things Valentine’s Day range is available on-line now at http://www.biglittlethings.co.uk
