Last year, Apley Classic Car Sunday was a gloriously English country Sunday, attracting over 85 cars. Every year, registrations start earlier & this year they include classic motor bikes (we had a few side cars last year).

The Black Country Classic Car Club have just been in touch to register their members for the Apley Classic Motor Day (the new name we’ve given the event this year). They sent me this about their club: “Black Country Classic Car Club is the ‘all-make’ Classic Car Club for owners & enthusiasts alike. It’s an informal but organised social car club, established in May 2003 with over 60 members. They offer friendly advice, fun club events, breakfast runs, evening road runs & classic car shows. We also offer insurance discounts, valuations & information on shows throughout the year. They hold an informal meeting every other Tuesday at 8:30pm in The Old Swan (upstairs), Halesowen Road, Netherton, Dudley, West Midlands, DY2 9PY, where they welcome new members.

It’s a great day out for the whole family. Be the first into the Creamery Cafe for Sunday breakfast at 10am or book in for Sunday lunch. Enjoy a country walk on the Skylark Nature Trail with an Apley picnic.

To register, email or call 01952 730 345 ext 6 (office). For more details, click HERE.

We are most certainly looking forward to the Apley Classic Motor Day, it was an excellent day last year with a pleasant atmosphere and plenty to do for all the family.

    Well done Apley
