Easy Bean savoury biscuits – great car snacks
On this gloriously sunny spring day, it’s worth sharing that the first of the British strawberries have arrived at Apley Farm Shop. Hoorah ! Plus, these Easy Bean biscuits are my latest favourite savoury car snacks. We’ve just got new packaging for our own-brand loose tea, to match our own-brand coffees. We have 2 blends: Gavin’s / Lord Hamilton’s English Breakfast & Earl Grey.
Martin Moyden has just won an award at the Artisan cheese awards in Melton Mowbray for his Apley cheese – fabulous news. Of course, we think it’s well deserved !
I read recently of these 6 rather intriguing food trends in 2016: Avocado, bowls (eating from them rather than plates), poultry, pig’s ears, dried rose petals & red pepper powder. More on those later. If you’re looking for something a little bit different (or just not so commonly used these days) but not pig’s ears, we have rabbit in stock, £5 each. Enjoy with bags of exotic salad leaves from Apley Walled Garden – including my favourite mizuna & mooli radishes.
