Open Farm Sunday preparationYesterday, Open Farm Sunday preparations were well underway at Apley Farm Shop.

There’s always masses going on. including the very popular, free trailer rides run continuously throughout the day, lasting 15-20 mins.

In Pigg’s Playbarn, they’ve retired Tractor Tom & have replaced it with Tractor Troy. Drop in for a ride!

Firstly, I met Beth Heath, Shropshire’s top event organiser, in our Creamery Café to discuss 2017 events. In the meantime, Francis had a great day with Activ8 who held their holiday club at Apley Farm Shop for the first time yesterday.

Lora in the farm shop has set up a competition to win an Apley barbecue pack & has fathers’ day hampers available & the butcher counter is looking fab, under the direction of new butcher Bob Wassell.

Gary Peach has begun as our new Head Gardener this week & has made great progress getting the tomatoes going. He’s getting it ready for the Stockton Church fundraising tea party in Apley Walled Garden on Sunday 12 June, 3-6pm. It’s a strictly ticketed event & places are limited. Just email for £20 tickets.
