Classic Motor Day at Apley Farm Shop on Sunday 17 July is going to be fab – unless there’s a British summer deluge of course! We already have more cars registered than came last year (82) & still over 2 weeks to go. It’s always been a great Shropshire day out for all the family.

It’s the first year we’re welcoming motor bikes as well as cars. I’ve just received these fab photos of a replica Captain America [Harley Davidson] motor bike of which the original featured in the 1969 Easy Rider film. The bike has been ridden & autographed by the star of the film by Peter Fonda, and also appeared on the BBC One Show.

Peter Fonda also rode the bike at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed which was an amazing event. Click HERE to watch an official Goodwood interview with him on You Tube.

Enjoy a Sunday roast lunch in the Creamery Cafe, a picnic hamper from our farm shop (take it on our Skylark Nature Trail) or an Apley barbecue in the courtyard. We source very local meats (including British White cattle from 1 mile away) & local beers.
