Just got this news in from Charlotte at Paint & Create, the lovely pottery painting studio in the centre of the shopping courtyard at Apley Farm Shop:

Paint & Create have recently shared this update: “What a fantastic first 3 months in the studio! With school holiday fun, birthday parties, potter’s wheel days, special needs groups, Scouts and of course Ladies Night, Paint and Create are now gearing up for a busy Halloween and Christmas.

We have pumpkin pottery painting from £3 and are fully stocked with Spookley books, DVDs and toys. Remember to receive glazed and fired items in time for Halloween they need to be painted by Sunday 23^rd October. Other Halloween crafts and the usual range of painting will be available over half term.

Christmas stock will be available from 1^st November although we’ve already had some customers getting prepared and have started painting Christmas presents already! Last date for painting to guarantee it’s ready for Christmas is Friday 16^th December.

Ladies’ Night is the perfect opportunity to relax with a glass of wine and good company to create your masterpiece. The next one is Wednesday 19^th October 7pm and we have a few places left. Contact Charlotte on 01952 730 220 or info@paintcreate.co.uk to book your place.

We also have Rachel Frost back by popular demand for more Potter’s Wheel sessions (2 Oct was sold out!): Friday 28^th October family day – suitable for all ages, no booking required and Sunday 6^th November for The Full Experience – 20 minute lesson, throw 2 pots, 3 hours to paint them in the studio then professional glaze and fire £20 – booking essential.”
