Christmas Eve plates

Here’s more news from Paint & Create – the pottery painting & craft studio in the centre of Apley Farm Shop’s shopping courtyard.

We had a great October in the studio; with Ladies’ night, Halloween crafts and a fab Potter’s Wheel day, you think we’d be taking a break. No way! Instead we’re gearing up for Christmas (we know – it’s only November but you need to start early to allow time for glazing and firing). Pop in and see our lovely Christmas pottery including baubles, gingerbread men and Santa plates.

Potter’s Wheel lesson – tick it off your bucket list!

Sunday 6th November 2016

Back by popular demand, Rachel Frost will be giving one-to-one lessons on the wheel including a demonstration. You will throw two pots and then spend a couple of hours in the studio painting. Your pieces will then be professionally glazed and fired to be collected at a later date. £20 per person – booking essential.

Ladies’ nights

Thursday 17th November 2016 7pm – 9pm

Tuesday 13th December 2016 7pm – 9pm

Join us for wine, nibbles and pottery painting. Bring your friends for a creative, social evening and why not make some lovely, personal Christmas presents. £5 per person + pay for what you paint. (£10 deposit payable). Booking essential.

Christmas Eve plates

Paint & Create have designed some lovely Christmas plates (Santa plate shown below). Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for more pictures. Paint your own on this 12″ charger plate (£13) or provide us with the details and let us do the work for you (£19). All plates are fully glazed and fired – no porcelain pens used here! Last date for orders is 4th December 2016.
