These photos from this week’s butchery course really show well what the course entailed. It began with an obligatory Health & Safety talk, then they got straight on with details of different cuts, had a pork themed supper in the Creamery Cafe, watched a film created by our pork suppliers (Packington), & finally got back to their chopping boards for more hard-core butchery skills. They gave some very kind feedback & said it was all ‘better than expected’. One of the participants used to be a boarder at Apley Park school during the years when it was converted for that purpose. Small world ! Huge thanks to Sarah who was on stand by to help Bob the Butcher, whilst Sally & Dan who gave them a super meal in the Creamery.
