Apley Walled Garden’s first rhubarb of 2017 is now in Apley Farm Shop. It’s fresh, very local, seasonal & you can meet our Head Gardener Phil who grows it & hear about his bio-ethical gardening methods. Catch him early morning when he’s at the farm shop.
Stuck for ideas on what to actually do with the rhubarb ? Try making rhubarb & ginger tea, crumble or fool with it. Cake of the Week from the Apley Bakery is Rhubarb Crumble cake – yum ! Perhaps try it yourself at home & enter it into the Apley Bake Off on Sun 28 May ?
