Launching the Apley Shopping Village Facebook page

It is what it says on the tin – Apley Shopping Village. For ages, one of our strap lines has been ‘So much more than a farm shop‘, so it seemed high time to take that a step further.

We’ve just created (NB. they’re not yet finished !) some new Facebook pages for all the businesses at Apley Farm Shop. Click HERE to see the Apley Shopping Village Facebook page, where you’ll see posts about the businesses onsite – Apley Farm Shop itself which encompasses the Apley Butchery, Apley Bakery, Apley Delicatessen & Apley Walled Garden produce; the Creamery Cafe, Pigg’s Playbarn, our Corn Loft Conference Room, the free Skylark Nature Trail & the 5 independent businesses in our shopping courtyard – Apley Plant Centre, Paint & Create, Big Little Things, Scotty’s Animal Park & Annie’s Reiki Centre.

Each of our businesses are complementary, but very different & therefore with different customers. Even though they share the same postal address, they are each unique. So it seems right to promote them separately as well as together, under the ‘umbrella’ of the Apley Shopping Village. We’re being careful not to forget how this all came about & that Apley Farm Shop is of course the founding business of the Apley Shopping Village, principally to provide local people with local food from local producers. We’re set in the heart of the Apley Estate, surrounded by beautiful Shropshire countryside, of which we consider ourselves the guardians, having farmed it for hundreds of years by successive generations.

In 2015, we were listed in the UK’s top 3 destination farm shops. The creation of the Apley Shopping Village Facebook page gives detail on what the Apley destination includes. ‘Great food, great fun, great shopping‘ remains as true as ever.

Apley provides a great day out on 362 days a year, as well as holding special events throughout the year, such as Mothers’ Day, Easter Funday & the Apley Bake Off (28 May) which are all coming up next.
