This blog also got left behind in my drafts folder, but it’s better late than never to congratulate our staff !

“We’ve just had a bumper Mothers’ Day weekend – helped by that lovely Spring sunshine, I’m sure. They all work so hard 362 days a year & all the more so on our event days, to give each customer the best day out possible. It wouldn’t all happen without the team work – none of us can do it alone – behind the scenes staff are just as important as those customer-facing ones who are front of house. We’re all essential team players, cogs of a big wheel. We’ve had some super Trip Advisor reviews – here’s a screen shot of one.

They were so busy & Steve couldn’t be there, so I’m afraid I have no photos to share with you. We offered Mothers’ Day everything – cards, presents, ready made meals, meal deals on the butchery counter, breakfasts, brunches, lunches, Cream Teas, Afternoon Teas – totally sold out, so we had to suggest customers bought picnics from our Delicatessen to eat on the benches of our Skylark Nature Trail. What a lovely start to spring.”
