What’s new this month on the Apley butchery counter Beef. Bob the Butcher has just updated me:

• Beef bacon £8.99 per kg – 89p per 100g
• Whole shoulder of lamb £6.99 per kg (on offer)
• Half shoulders of lamb £7.39 per kg (on offer)
• Fiery chilli beef steaks £15.99 per kg – made with Shropshire beef
• Peppered steaks £15.99 per kg – also made with Shropshire beef (cattle man’s choice beef)

On the Apley Essentials range (3 for £12), there are now up to 20 products, the latest being:

• Chicken Kievs £4.69 per pack (2 portions)
