Wolverhampton school visit to Apley Farm Shop
Last week on 17 October, Apley Farm Shop welcomed 25 pupils aged 16 from Highfields School in Wolverhampton. They are studying sources of British food, so their 4 hr visit began with an introduction from our General Manager & Farm Shop Manager before heading off for a guided tour of Apley Walled Garden. After a wholesome lunch in the Creamery Cafe, they met the Apley Butcher & Apley Farm Manager Adrian Joynt to hear in detail the journey their food makes, from field to fork. Before heading home of course they had time to browse delicious local foods in the farm shop !
Steve Watts was on hand to take these photos. We welcome school visits for all ages & at all times of year.
