Spaces left on the Spookley Pumpkin Festival at Apley Farm Shop

Afternoon teas need booking by 11am the previous day. Cream Teas require no pre-booking
Spaces fill up super fast on the Spookley Pumpkin Festival at Apley Farm Shop, so to help you plan your half term week, here are some up to date statistics with the current weather forecast.
Online bookings close 8hrs before the event begins each day. Any remaining places are then available for anyone turning up on the day (‘walk-in’ places), which are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
If you don’t get a place on the Pumpkin Express, there’s still bags of fun:
- Walk to the pumpkin patch to select your pumpkin
- Carve it in the Carving Cavern.
- Enjoy a barbecue lunch in the courtyard
- Paint a pumpkin in Paint & Create (pottery painting studio).
- Taste pumpkin recipes in the Creamery Cafe.
- Play in Pigg’s Playbarn.
- Visit Scotty’s Animal Park.
- Walk the Skylark Nature Trail
- Post your fancy dress & carved pumpkin photos on our Facebook page to enter our competitions.
These availability statistics include the extra 4:30pm Pumpkin Express which we’ve just added. The table at the bottom of this blog gives more detail to enable you to plan your day:
- Tuesday 24 Oct: 111 spaces – warm, rain & drizzle
- Wed 25 Oct: 86 spaces – warm, cloudy with sun
- Thu 26 Oct: 131 spaces – warm, cloudy with sun, showers possible
- Fri 27 Oct: 144 spaces – quite warm, mainly sunny
- Sat 28 Oct: 30 spaces – quite warm, mainly sunny
- Sun 29 Oct: 27 spaces – quite warm, cloudy & drizzle
Many of the spaces are in the afternoon from 2.30pm onwards, so why not come for Afternoon Tea in the Creamery Cafe.
There are other spaces late afternoon at 3.30/4pm, so perfect timing for early children’s supper (baked potatoes with fillings) in Pigg’s Playbarn.
Next weekend is very nearly full (with many single spaces, apart from the 4.30pm slot), so weekday bookings are advisable !
