There’s been plenty of non-scary pumpkin fun going on last week at Apley Farm Shop. Thanks to our amazing team of staff, it’s been our best ever Spookley Pumpkin Festival. Apley’s event ended 5pm on Sunday 29 Oct, though there are still plenty of spooky surprises in store for many tomorrow elsewhere in Shropshire.

We’ve been so overwhelmed by record ticket sales (3300 over 11 days), we’ll be opening 2018’s ticket page asap. Huge numbers of customers came from all over Shropshire & the West Midlands to enjoy the Pumpkin Express, hearing the story of Spookley the Square Pumpkin, selecting their own pumpkins from the pumpkin patch, taking it to the carving cavern to carve themselves, then tasting pumpkin recipes in the Creamery Cafe or even painting a pottery pumpkin in Paint & Create. The fancy dress & carved pumpkins designs were fabulous. Winners will be selected from those who posted photos on the Apley Farm Shop Facebook page.
