Sarah & Fran, who are opening Big Little Things (florists & presents) at Apley Farm Shop on Sat 31 Oct, just sent me this press release to describe their opening. I’m sure they’ll beautifully complement our other businesses & I’ve already asked if they can supply my weekly bunch of white lilies !

Florist & giftware store to open at Apley Farm Shop

Shropshire-based wedding florists Big Little Things will be opening their floristry & giftware shop on Saturday 31st October 2015. The shop is located at Apley Farm Shop, Norton between Telford & Bridgnorth, complementing the site’s Courtyard Shopping & as a popular tourist destination.

Run by business partners Sarah Knowles & Fran Robinson, the shop offers a wide variety of floristry services including fresh cut flowers, ready-made flower arrangements & customised services such as wedding flowers. Mrs Knowles, 38 from Telford said: “Our shop will stock gifts for big & little people, such as our personalised gifts which are already popular in our online shop, www.biglittlethings.co.uk. In addition, we will stock items by talented local Artists such as Amanda Hillier & Just Gemma.

“We are really looking forward to being at Apley Farm Shop; it’s a great destination with lots to offer from the café & playbarn to existing retail outlets & the farm shop itself.” Mrs Knowles added: “Christmas is a great time for our shop to open & we have lots of Christmas decorations & present ideas to excite the Apley customers.”

The opening weekend arrives in time for the Christmas Launch at Apley Farm Shop on Saturday 14 November & the Christmas Food & Craft Fairs on 28 & 29 November. In December, there will be a Santa’s Grotto as well as Breakfast & Afternoon tea with a visit from Santa. For the future, Big Little Things will offer floristry courses for those who want to develop a new skill or build on an existing ability.

Big Little Things was established in 2010 by former Sales & Marketing Executive Mrs Knowles & Graphic Designer turned florist Mrs Robinson. The company’s aim is to bring creative designs & original products to those seeking them. They have established a local reputation for creating stunning wedding flowers over the last 5 years.
